DELUXE EDITION WITH PRINTED INNER SLEEVE, STICKER AND POSTER!
Bulldozing Bastard from the usually more placid area of Eastern Westphalia are around since 2012 and already managed to release an EP, a split-7? and a full length album within only a year. Now their first full length album is here, available as a very nice vinyl LP with a poster and a logo sticker. But this loving packaging is the only thing here that's made with love... Just take a look at the title of the album: 'Bulldozing The Vatican'- Yes, this already sounds like there is a lot of destruction and terror to come. And, take heed of this warning! You'll get exactly that and even more! The album starts off with the title track, and this one shows absolutely no respect for anything! Ir?n Commander, Gen?zider and Barrage Beast are Bulldozing The Vatican with pleasure. And as they're already there... There surely is more to wipe out! The machines are in full career anyway. So the Street Metal Death Squad continues with its Chainsaw Inquisition. Honestly, these songs are raging through the underwoods like a rabid boar, especially the latter one with its punky attitude. But Bulldozing Bastard haven't fired all their guns yet. Go Fuck Yourself transports this ?Fuck Off!!!?-attitude of Punk Rock, that this whole album is infiltrated with. So this song might go for the motto of the band. The B-side of 'Bulldozing The Vatican' is equally wicked. Bastard Metal opens up and defines the style of Bulldozing Bastard best. It's a bastard of Thrash, old fashioned Black Metal and rude Punk. Those punk influences are in full swing on the following Beer Hammers, which sounds like The Restarts on Metal, for those who know these British Punk veterans. In Black Leather Uniform there even is a Rock'n'Roll vibe that sounds like there are some illegitimate sons of Motorhead at the instruments. And Women Get Me Off (This Restraining Order) immediately made me think of old Venom, in times when they were still rude and wild. So if you're looking for some bad-mannered Thrash Metal with no respect and a raw and brutal production, 'Bulldozing The Vatican' should really satisfy your needs!
