Avulsed is a pretty unique band in death metal. They always add a drop of melody when it?s required, fitting perfectly when it clashes against that ultra heavy wall of distorted guitars and suffocated vocals. "Stabwound orgasm" is another great chapter in the career of a band that never needed to step back or go down with compromises. Their unique brand of somehow melodic yet ultra-brutal death metal is strongly deep-fried in the European school, but it always gained some influences from around the world. On this record they keep on delivering the goods with brutality and violence, with a really competent taste in riffing and songwriting. There are no fillers on "Stabwound orgasm", only top notch level death metal song. This is HIGHLY reccomended and will surely please the fans of Deranged, Putrevore and Dead!
