Two years after their masterpiece called Black Mass, Death SS returned with a new album that follows the same traces of their works before. They recorded another excellent album, full of the main characteristics of the band and the line up is the same one, except for the new, very good drummer Ross Lukather. Their main influences are always horror, speed and classic metal, atmosphere, violence and occult, all concurring to create an incredible atmosphere nailed by the amazing vocal effort by Steve Sylvester. Death SS don?t try to impress by means of virtuosity; their strength lies in the songwriting, and they know it and play accordingly. Each song here is a gem of metal-song crafting, a perfect mix of old school influences and the band's personal way to approach the genre. This is hands down one of the best metal records that ever came out from Italy and a terrific trip into top notch horror music!
