BLACK SABBATH feat ROB HALFORD "The priest comes to the sabbath"

BLACK SABBATH feat ROB HALFORD \"The priest comes to the sabbath\"
A night to remember. In the fall of 1992 Ozzy Osbourne decided to announce his retirement. He committed to play two farewell shows in Costa Mesa, California, and asked his old band, Black Sabbath, to do the honor of opening the shows. But that's not how things worked out. This plan may have sounded good to Ozzy, and Tony Iommi, but what not so appealing to Ronnie James Dio. "I'm not supporting that. I'm not supporting a clown." Dio made his case, then left the band, leaving Iommi to figure out another plan of attack. Enter another powerhouse vocalist from their native Birmingham, England: Rob Halford. Halford, had recently left Judas Priest and gladly accepted the invitation to share the stage with Black Sabbath to perform the two concerts. Not surprisingly, he delivered the goods, as you can hear on this live recording. Black Sabbath classics with Rob Halford singing. Recommended to any Sabbath or Priest / Halford fan. Includes the full story of this unforgettable event. Cover with gold printing. Limited to 500 copies.
