Retrosatan is considered the first black metal band from Argentina, if we consider the term black metal as conceived for the first wave of bands like Mercyful Fate and Venom. This is a great fine example of amazing blackened speed thrashing metal, taking the classic NWOBHM sound and pushing it into the boundaries of hell. Retrosatan were the argentine version of Mercyful Fate but with lots of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden influences, something quite easy to note in the prominent guitars in the mix, double lead solos, nice drum fills and powerful old-school riffs. This CD featues the original Grito Mortal recordings from 1986 and seven bonus tracks!!!
