Cryptopsy had always been a chaotic death band, with this release they turned into a crazy, cerebral, uncontrollable death band. They had lost cult vocalist/lyricist Lord Worm and gained vocalist/lyricist Mike DiSalvo. This is another excellent Cryptopsy album. The new vocalist DiSalvo does a good job in replacing Lord Worm, and it's interesting to know some of the other band members added vocal effects too. The instrumentation here is unsurprisingly solid albeit technical, and although the album's length flies by seamlessly, there's enough on here to enjoy. 'White worms' and 'Faceless unknown' are brilliantly intense. Whisper Supremacy is another great addition for the collection of any Death Metal fan out there!
