HOPE? formed in Portland in 2020, playing punk that harkens back to the 90s US crust scene. The current lineup solidified in 2023, bringing together old friends from Minneapolis with new energy & a shared history that honed its identity.
Their debut LP moves through grief and desperate rage with ferocious punk riffs, reaching for community and collective feeling as this fractured world is torn apart around us. The artwork, created by Manda (the band’s hell-raising vocal force) it’s a raw and visceral black and white ink. Not to talk about the crazy cut and paste 12 page booklet, a pleasure for your eyes!
