Blood Feast from New Jersey had a penchant for just thrashing it out, and that's exactly what Kill for Pleasure does - 42 minutes of nonstop thrashing brutality. The intensity isn't all that far from either the Bay-Area scene (ala Exodus or Slayer) or the Germanic thrash titans (Kreator, Destruction), but the riffs and songs are a bit more straightforward. Brilliantly chaotic solos (courtesy of Adam Tranquilli and Mike Basden) also add to the thrashiness, and the drumming prowess of Kevin Kuzma is unbelievable - he just doesn't let up! On Kill For Pleasure, there are some of the most intimidating, evil death/thrash metal ever released. It thrashes, it breaks your neck, and for that it serves its purpose in a terrific way. Every single song will destroy you in a violent, sadistic way! This is one of the best blend of classic Slayer-like American thrash metal and the teutonic rage in the vein of Kreator. This is fast, pouding, violent, throat-cutting, frenzy, rabid and absolutely fierce thrash metal. A mandatory addition to every real metal fan's collection!
