This is the first album from Oppressor, a VERY technical band from Chicago. This was originally released in 1994 after two groundbreaking demos. Their style is reminescent of Suffocation, with a personal taste more leaning toward catchy riffing without losing one ounce of sheer brutality. Their later albums are more polished in terms of production, songwriting, and clear guitar parts and solos; but this is as fierce as it can be. Solid, powerful death metal unleashed with superb skill and monumental quality. Sick!
