Another essential archival release from Rave Up Records, unearthing the complete legacy of TERMINAL MIND, one of the pioneering bands of Austin's explosive late '70s punk scene! Active between 1978 and 1980, TERMINAL MIND delivered a fierce, uncompromising brand of early American punk rock, leaving a lasting mark on the Texas underground and influencing future cult acts such as BUTTHOLE SURFERS and THE JESUS LIZARD. The band also shared the stage with emerging local outfits including BIG BOYS and SHARON TATE'S BABY, helping shape a scene that would become legendary in the years to follow. This definitive retrospective gathers their original 1979 self-titled EP, newly remastered, two previously unreleased studio demos, both tracks from the legendary "Live At Raul's" compilation LP, an unreleased outtake from the same session, plus a selection of rare live recordings captured at clubs and outdoor festivals. Following TERMINAL MIND's dissolution, frontman Steve Marsh went on to form the experimental psychedelic rock outfit MIRACLE ROOM, continuing his uncompromising musical explorations well beyond the original punk era.
