THREE MORE CULT 7" EPs FROM THE GOLDEN AGE OF FINNISH DEATH METAL!! XYSMA, FUNEBRE & INTERMENT!! The second chapter of SVART RECORDS' essential series dedicated to the roots of Finnish DEATH METAL brings together three legendary and highly sought-after 7" EPs from the darkest days of the early '90s underground! XYSMA "Fata Morgana" (1990) – Originally released by STEVE O'BANNON's legendary SERAPHIC DECAY RECORDS, this cult EP captures XYSMA at their most twisted and primitive, delivering a monstrous blend of chaotic GRINDCORE, crushing DOOM-laden passages and bizarre rocking grooves, straight out of a nightmarish LUCIO FULCI horror movie! FUNEBRE "Brainspoon" (1990) – A true gem of early Finnish DEATH METAL, originally released by the obscure German label THE WHISPER IN DARKNESS and REISSUED FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!! Two tracks and 11 minutes of rotten, sinister and constantly shifting OLD-SCHOOL DEATH METAL, combining the genre's trademark Finnish darkness with touches of classic HEAVY METAL madness! INTERMENT "Life Here After" (1991) – Originally released by the legendary COMEBACK RECORDS, this ultra-obscure 7" delivers a devastating mixture of XYSMA's grinding brutality and FUNEBRE's infectious DEATH METAL riffing, enriched by eerie, almost psychedelic guitar solos and a suffocating atmosphere of decay! Three absolutely essential recordings from the formative years of the Finnish extreme metal scene, finally unearthed and collected in one killer package! THREE LEGENDARY 7" EPs IN ONE BOX SET, OFFICIALLY REISSUED BY SVART RECORDS!! A mandatory addition to every collection of obscure, rotten and uncompromising OLD-SCHOOL DEATH METAL!
