Although nearing 20 years of existence, releases from RESUSCITATION are sparse, but what the Belgium trio may lack in quantity, they make up for in quality. Here on the two-song Eviscerated Divinity, RESUSCITATION hammer forth with pulsing, pounding, and strangely coiling Metal of Death, but bury the wreckage in mountains of black metalled ash. It's a primal, primeval sound, forged deep in the underground, and its coils burrow ever deeper, much like the cover art of Eviscerated Divinity. A bolt of brilliance before returning indefinitely to the pit, or a revelation of doom to come? Only the serpent knows...
