IGREJA QUADRANGULAR DO TRIANGULO REDONDO (1996) This is second album by the band D.F.C. (Distrito Federal Caos) presents a sound evolution to hardcore crossover direction, showing greater precision in the interpretations. At that time the band changed guitarists several times, the record featured energetic songs with the critical sarcasm which found on the first album, even more aggressively. The album is also recorded at Zen Estúdio in Brasília (capital of Brazil) between September and December 1995, the album was only released the following year by the independent label called Sonya Music, owned by bassist Phu and vocalist Tulio. The album has brought brand new innovations to Brazilian hardcore punk music of the time, such as the use of samples and mixing different rhythms, the album was an immediate success, giving the band the opportunity to perform many shows throughout the country and also to perform on Brazilian MTV's metal shows. IGREJA QUADRANGULAR DO TRIANGULO REDONDO is considered as the album preferred by many fans and was the album that led DFC to become one of the main references to Brazilian hardcore music. Released at that time only in CD format, 25 years later it was finally released on vinyl and cassette tape in Europe.
