Defecation is a death metal -grindcore cult band formed by Righteous Pigs guitarist Mitch Harris and then-Napalm Death drummer Mick Harris in 1987. Mitch Harris was the guitarist and bassist, while Mick Harris was the drummer, with both sharing vocal duties. They released ‘ Purity Dilution’ on Nuclear Blast Records in 1989. Shortly after the release of Purity Dilution, Mick left both Defecation and Napalm Death , with Mitch Harris and Jesse Pintado joining the latter, putting Defecation on hold. After the debut the band recorded a three track promo for the second album, which never happen as Mick left. This never released promo is featured here as a bonus.
