Founded as a death/black metal act known as Treblinka in 1987, Tiamat were one of the bands that pioneered the Swedish death metal sound. Tiamat’s debut album ‘Sumerian Cry’ was the first full-length album recorded at Sunlight Studios (Entombed’s ‘Left Hand Path’ was released before but recorded two months later).
