If Von were a female fronted Finnish hardcore band they would be Tuomiopaivan Lapset. Nothing says "fuck off!" quite like the primal hybridity of raw black metal and vicious punk rock; relentless blasting, necro-distorted three chord tremolo riffs, snarling shouts defiant spitting curses at society's ills. The band formed out of Finnish hardcore acts Sorto and Genocide, with initial releases exercising male vocals lacking the distinctive savagery to come. Between 1991-98 they released numerous 7" and appeared on a few compilations, most notably a split with Disrupt. This amazing double LP compilation features all their discoghraphy, so you'll find :
