The Manks are yet another under-the-radar Chiba Punk band. They came a couple of years after the first wave of bands like the C&C and Visible Fucker, and carried on that tradition of pure ‘77 style punk rock while the older participants in the scene incorporated more rock and roll and garage influences. This CD compiles their tracks from the Dynamite Vagina compilation CD and the best tracks from their demo tapes to make the ultimate Manks release. Members went on to The Plasters, The Spit, and are now active in SPIT-tn, who continue the tradition of old-school Chiba Punk.
