Formed in 1991 by two crazy metal punks obsessed with the raw and aggressive sounds of '80s Brazilian PUNK and HARDCORE, Finland's FORÇA MACABRA have been delivering their own devastating blend of infernal speed, relentless THRASHCORE aggression and savage punk ferocity for over three decades! Despite being entirely Finnish, the band sings exclusively in Portuguese, paying tribute to the legendary Brazilian scene of ARMAGEDOM, LOBOTOMIA, OLHO SECO and other pioneers of South American HARDCORE! "1997" brings together the band's self-titled 1997 EP on side A, plus rare recordings from the very same sessions, recorded on March 9-10, 1997 at HARJU MORGUE in Helsinki, on side B! A merciless barrage of raw, fast and uncompromising THRASH/GRIND/PUNK brutality, capturing FORÇA MACABRA at their most ferocious! Mastered by JACK CONROW at ENORMOUS DOOR MASTERING and officially released on vinyl by SVART RECORDS! LIMITED EDITION OF 300 COPIES, including an insert!
