This is the first of three offerings of a VERY technical band from Chicago, playing solid death metal not as brutal as Suffocation, but staggering nonetheless. Thier later albums are more polished in terms of production, songwriting, and clear guitar parts and solos; but this is, as mentioned, thier freshman effort. It is solid, good death metal that leads to their other albums. Sick!
