Introducing the Costa Rican hardcore punk band ESKUPA, part of the new era of raw punk in Central and South America. This LP is the band's vinyl debut, featuring the six tracks from their first demo, "Ya no queda nada" (2025), and new material, all under the title "ESTA OSCURIDAD NO ES MIA" (This Darkness Is Not Mine). In addition to the noticeable influences of the new Latin American raw punk sound, with its driving drums and pedal effects that fill the tracks with noise and nuance, ESKUPA imbues the songs with an aura of darkness and anguish, combining slower sections with a utterly agonizing vocal performance. The record comes in a two-color screen-printed gatefold sleeve with a double-sided insert featuring artwork by our favorite, Randy Linskens of Traumatizer.
