THREE CULT 7" EPs FROM THE GOLDEN AGE OF FINNISH DEATH METAL!! ABHORRENCE, DISGRACE & MESSIAH PARATROOPS!! An essential collection documenting the birth of the legendary Finnish DEATH METAL scene, bringing together three obscure and highly sought-after 7" EPs from the late '80s/early '90s underground! Back in the days of frantic tape trading, primitive demo recordings and an unstoppable obsession with extreme brutality, Finland gave birth to some of the darkest, most twisted and uncompromising bands in DEATH METAL history! This killer box set gathers three cult releases originally issued by the legendary American label SERAPHIC DECAY, run by STEVE O'BANNON: DISGRACE "Debts Of God" (1990), ABHORRENCE "Abhorrence" (1990) – the pioneering band whose members would later give rise to AMORPHIS – and MESSIAH PARATROOPS "The Past" (1992)! Three savage blasts of raw, rotten and primitive OLD-SCHOOL DEATH METAL, capturing the genre in its formative years, when young bands were pushing the boundaries of heaviness and brutality with limited resources and boundless creativity! Each EP delivers a short but devastating dose of authentic early Finnish DEATH METAL, straight from the darkest depths of the underground! THREE LEGENDARY 7" EPs COLLECTED IN ONE ESSENTIAL BOX SET, OFFICIALLY RELEASED BY SVART RECORDS!! A mandatory piece of history for every fanatic of obscure, uncompromising OLD-SCHOOL DEATH METAL!
