One of the most influential bands in the history of Swedish HARDCORE/PUNK returns with its first album of brand-new material in two decades! Twenty years after "Vi Är Eliten", the mighty TOTALITÄR unleash 9 new tracks of furious, uncompromising rawpunk/D-beat, proving that time has done absolutely nothing to soften their sound or their attitude!
Formed in Hudiksvall in the mid-'80s, TOTALITÄR helped shape the unmistakable Swedish hardcore sound alongside ANTI-CIMEX, MOB 47, AVSKUM and SHITLICKERS, taking the DISCHARGE blueprint to new extremes of speed, aggression and intensity. This self-titled comeback delivers everything that made the band a cornerstone of Scandinavian hardcore: razor-sharp guitar riffs, pounding D-beat rhythms, Poffen's unmistakably harsh vocals and fiercely confrontational lyrics addressing the madness of the modern world. Nine explosive tracks packed into approximately 16 minutes, with a powerful, abrasive production that preserves the band's unmistakable identity while giving the new material its own crushing personality.
Recorded and mixed by Kenko at Communichaos Studio in 2025/2026. A remarkable return from one of the absolute masters of Swedish hardcore, sounding as pissed off and vital as ever, and undoubtedly a strong contender for THE BEST HARDCORE ALBUM OF 2026!!
