Taking direct inspiration from the early 90's Black Metal classic debuts of Burzum, Isengard, Sumoning and Emperor, this is anti-commercial mid-paced Black Metal that your local wizards warned you about.A heavy dose of pre-Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings is also pretty obvious. Founded by Old Forest drummer 'Grond' - herein going by the Orcish moniker of 'Ugluk' (war drums, 4 string goblin bow and elf-bone clavier), he is joined by 'Gruul' (goblin shrieks) and 'Gauroth' (6 string orken bouzouki). Recorded with a 'demo tape' aesthetic, and mastered to c90 cassette tape, this sounds like a relic of the bygone times... Absolute classic !
