One of the best Canadian thrash albums EVER! Second only to the mighty "Forward to Termination", this is riff madness at its best. Both the 1990 and 1988 demos here by Slaughter are an example of what could have been, if only they had managed to record a final album. Monster fucking riffs to be had here. Stuff like "Not Dead Yet", "The Dark", "Time Warp" each own you in their own little way. The riff style is very similar to that of Sacrifice, with a bit of Slayer influence thrown in. Little of the older death-metal influence of "Surrender or Die" or "Strappado" is to be found here, this is all out death by thrash riffs!!! This record is one of those "excuse me, could I have your attention for a minute, I'm going to RIP YOUR FUCKING SPINE OUT AND SHOVE IT DOWN YOUR THROAT" type breaks. Thank you, that is all!
