Undergang's 2010 debut "Indhentet af Doden" was a fantastic death metal release.. two years later, the band is finally ready with the follow up and "Til Doden Os Skiller" is a continuation down the path set by their debut. The trio still fuses death metal, grind and doom into their songs but do so in a more devastating manner here. The riffs flow into one another and the various parts of each song sit together very comfortably. The focus is always on the thick and heavy as fuck riffs and it works because this album is full of some great death metal riffing. Bolt Thrower still sounds like the bands main influence but added in with touches of Asphyx and a crusty feel to some of the faster grind bits. "Til Doden Os Skiller" is a pretty kickass release. The songs are heavy and brutal, the sound is nasty and Undergang has shown that their debut was no flash in the pan. "Til Doden Os Skiller" is on par with the debut and maybe even a little bit better.
