Ratos de Porao (Basement Rats) is one of the most respected names in the history of Brazilian punk/hardcore/crossover scene. Their legacy stretches out from 1981 until today, when the band still is active and performs live all across Brazil. Their music evolved throughout the years, incorporating elements of punk, hardcore and even thrash metal to the structure, making RDP the first Brazilian crossover band. "Anarkophobia", the group's second album for Roadrunner Records released in 1990, continued RDP's evolution towards a more thrash-oriented sound. Aggressive, intense, without compromises. Ratos De Porao is more than a very important band. It's legend.
