LIMITED EDITION ON COLORED VINYL!

This is the Exploited's most experimental album to date. Half the songs are still your basic fast, loud, punk rock thrashers but the other half they experiment alot with tribal drumming, high pitched guitars, groovy bass lines (as in it has a groove), and echoed vocals. Very reminiscent of bands like Joy Division, Public Image Ltd, and Bauhaus. Probably not exactly what most street punks and speed metallers want to hear but so what? Those people are narrow minded and boring anyway. This is an interesting part of the Exploited's discography. And even if you're not down to give their experimental side a shot you're still missing out on great punk anthem like I Hate You and Maggie. "Maggie, Maggie, Maggie, ya c-!" Also, the lyrics are more insightful. Wattie gets deeper into the horrors of economical inequality, starvation, and war than usual. Probably because some of the songs are slower and longer so there's more time. The sound here is well ahead its time.Don't expect any resemblance to the 2 first albums.If you want to listen to something very original,open your mind.
