Clandestine Blaze hails from Fainland and its the brainchild of Mikko Aspa, the same man behind Nihilist Commando, Cremaface, Harsh, Morbid Savouring and even Deathspell Omega. With this project Mikko focused on the classic side of black metal, devolping a creature that's so faithful to the original spirit of the classic bands from Norway that could be easily mistaken from one of those times and, mostly, those place. Mesmerizing riffing, warfare drums, hellish vocals. Everything is here, recreating the same spirit that oozed from the classic records of bands such as Mayhem, Burzum, Darkthrone, Emperor and so on. This is not a record for trendy years or for trend-followers. This is a record that comes from a member of the dark legacy of Norwegian black metal for true believers of the dark flame. Totally reccomended.
