The legendary band "SS" suddenly appeared in 1978, on the eve of the birth of hardcore punk. The long-awaited reissue of their infamous live recordings, which were said to be the fastest in the world at the time! SS was hands down one of the most important Japanese punk rock band from the Kansai scene and was at the center of the no wave movement, along with INU, Ultra Bidet, and Aunto Sally. They recorded live performance in 1979 (36 songs, 34 minutes) and this is faster than most of the later hardcore, sounding like a rawer version of Ramones at double speed. This is a masterpiece representing the early days of Japanese punk!
