TROPEL NAT arises from the meeting between Boliche and Enric in the mythical rehearsal room of “Nou de la Rambla”. Acció Directa shared the premises with Subterranean Kids and it was Boliche who proposed to Enric to form a new band. The initial idea was a raw punk savagery with a metallic sound. At that time, the first works of DRI and Suicidal Tendencies, among others, had a considerable impact on Boliche and Enric, and that was the inspiration to start. We are talking about the end of 1986. Tropel Nat's main characteristic is the personal cross between punk-hardcore and metal, the instrumental harshness and the melodic vocals often at a much more relaxed tempo. The four members of Tropel Nat felt and lived the music in different ways but expressed it on the same plane and that made it possible to square speed, forcefulness, melody and harmony in a way not very common at that time. They recorded more than one demo but the one that reached the hands of the public was the “Demo 11 tracks (1989)” that they gave away with the purchase of a T-shirt. This legendary recording finally gets the vinyl treatment, unearthing a lost gem of Spanish crossover and a slice of hardcore history!!!
